Angels and Archangels (Part 2 of 7)

The simplest proof comes from Jesus’ own words in 1 John 1:1-7

Read the following scriptures very carefully to see Jesus is the light!

“That which was from the beginning, which we (apostles) have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life (who is  Jesus); (1 John 1:1)  (For the life (Jesus) was revealed, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life (Jesus), which (Jesus) was with the Father, and was revealed unto us;) (1 John 1:2) That which we have seen and heard we declare unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. (1 John 1:3)  And these things we write unto you, that your Joy may be full.” (1 John 1:4)

“This then is the message which we have heard of him (Jesus), and declare unto you, that God (the Father) is light, and in him is no darkness at all. (1 John 1:5) If we say that we have fellowship with him (God the Father), and walk in darkness, we lie, and we are not doing the truth: (1 John 1:6) But if we walk in the light (Jesus), as he (Jesus) is in the light (God the Father), we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin. (1 John 1:7)

Now let’s contrast these facts against each other as recorded in the Old and New Testaments, where God writes that He, God the Father, formed or created the light found in John 8:12, Isaiah 45:7, and Genesis 1:3:

Jesus said:

“Then Jesus spoke again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”  (John 8:12)

…and God the Father had written:

“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.”  (Isaiah 45:7)

…and God the Father had written:

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”  (Genesis 1:3)

Then the Apostle added this fact that God the Father caused Jesus to create for the Father:  This refers to the creation of all things after God the Father created Jesus as the light in Gen 1:3, which is not the light created by Jesus in Gen 1:14-19, where Jesus created the sun, moon, and stars, which is not the light created by God the Father on the first day of creation, who was Jesus the Son of God:

“And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:”  (Ephesians 3:9)
